When you engage the firm, you can count on knowledge and experience. Ms. Schaffer has represented clients in a broad range of immigration matters, including nonimmigrant (i.e., temporary) visas, immigrant (i.e., permanent residence, or “green card”) visas, citizenship, and deportation /removal proceedings. In addition, she taught immigration law at Baruch College, City University of New York, at the Continuing Studies Division. Ms. Schaffer is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and currently co-chairs the Immigration Law Committee of the Westchester Women's Bar Association.
An immigrant herself, Ms. Schaffer is passionate about making a difference in the lives of her clients. This translates into the highest level of attention to each client’s case and understanding each client’s needs throughout the complex immigration process.
For the convenience of our clients, we maintain two offices: in White Plains, NY (main office), and in midtown Manhattan (Helmsley Building). We understand that time matters, and, in addition to in-person meetings, we offer other convenient ways to work with us: e-mail, phone, fax, and overnight delivery.
Finally, our fees are reasonable and based on flat rates, rather than on hourly billing. This allows clients to know the total legal fees in advance. In addition, to further accommodate our clients, we offer payment plans, making our services more affordable. |
