The Good: |
Cost of living is the lowest in the nation. Salary is relatively high. They provide temporary license to foreign therapists. |
The Bad: |
English proficiency exams are required. 800 hours of clinical internship to be completed at the minimum of 120 days. Licensure in country of training is required. 3x limit to sit for the exam. |
Overall: |
A long list of licensure requirements. Cost of living is low, and salary is high. A good state to practice, once you have completed all the requirements. Not a friendly state to foreign therapists due to licensure requirements. |
