The Good:

Ranked 16th highest in the nation in terms of salary. No clinical internship requirement.

The Bad:

Cost of living is relatively high. English exam required. Jurisprudence exam required. Does not provide temporary license to foreign PTs. Remedial coursework required after 2x of NPTE failure. AIDS education required.

Overall:

Long list of licensure requirements. Salary is high, Cost of living also high. 50 Gen Ed credits, 69 Prof ed credits required. For a foreign PT with Bachelor's degree, it is difficult to get into this state.

I applied on this state. I have Bachelor's Degree. I lacked the following subjects: Pharmacology, Psychology, Geriatric Rehabilitation and Integumentary systems. They told me I have to take these subjects before they would consider me equivalent to a U.S. PT Degree.
